I used to live in Las Vegas New Mexico, about 19 miles south of Patrick Swayze’s Ranch. The furor about Val Kilmer is nothing new out there. However, it was interesting that during the filming of Blind Horizon, Mr. Kilmer was a good guy because of all the publicity and revenue the film brought to the local area. I was working in the hospital during the nights they were shooting the hospital scenes, and Mr. Kilmer was nothing less than a gentleman and a man just doing his job.
